How does Gibraltar Self Storage Work?

Gibraltar Self Storage provides customers with their own individual space. Self Storage differs from traditional storage in that the owner of the goods, is responsible for, and retains control over their goods after they have put them into storage. You secure your storage unit with your own lock, keep the key, and have access to your goods during business hours. You can put extra items in, take items out, or move to a smaller or larger unit if you need to, you have complete flexibility.

What does it cost?

Gibraltar Self has very competitive rates. Since our rates are based on a number of a various factors, the best way to obtain rental rates on a unit that best meets your specific needs is to call us or request a self storage rate online. How much storage space do I need?

What about insurance?

Insurance is the tenant’s responsibility. You may carry your own insurance. Check your homeowner’s or renter’s policy to see if you are already covered. Insurance may be obtained at the Gibraltar Storage front office.

When can I access my storage room or locker?

What is the minimum time that I can rent storage for?

There is no minimum to how long you can store as a tenant, but the minimum rental period is 1 month. If you move out before the 15th day of the month, your rental fee for the remainder of the month will be pro-rated.

How long does it take to move into my storage area?

The entire move-in process should take less than 10 minutes. Please keep in mind that the time may vary, depending on whether there are other customers ahead of you when you arrive. Mornings are usually the slowest period of the day while afternoons are at most busiest.

What type of documentation do I need to rent a storage unit?

A valid driver’s license with picture is required to lease a unit.
